Painter Counters Rediscovered! PNN News Reports

This is Emery Painter with the Painter News Network (PNN) reporting on the breaking news in the Painter household. After some groundbreaking work by Homemaker Lindsey Painter the missing kitchen counters have been rediscovered. Our on-site reporter, Warren Painter, has the story. To you Warren.
Thank you Emery! Legend has it that once upon a time in the Painter household there were some white counters designed for preparing food, storing household items that didn't fit in cupboards, and temporarily setting the mail. However, tragedy struck these counters, or so the story goes. Due to a fluke in events the Painters ended up moving half of their stuff out of the house and then back in. At that same time, historically, Lindsey Painter ended up working full time for three weeks to cover for a teacher who broke her leg, and then the whole household was struck one-by-one with the flu and then a cold. All this spells disaster for the counters which were tragically lost to us. Many historians believed that, like the lost city of Atlantis, they were gone forever.
All hope was lost, or so everyone believed. But there was one who refused to give up. And with her supportive husband, Jimmy, behind her (yes literally behind her picking up the living room and doing laundry) she resolved to find those kitchen counters at all costs.
And to all our astonishment she succeeded. And here I am standing in the Painter kitchen and I can hardly believe my eyes. Here right in front of me are the Painter's kitchen counters, still intact and ready to temporarily hold the mail once again. Back to you Emery.

Haha Emery! You're such an optomist! But I guess if kitchen counters can be rediscovered then we never know what might happen.
